The New York Mets have brought up highly touted rookie Fernando Martinez today to replace OF Ryan Church who was put on the DL. According to CBS Sports, Martinez is an outfield who is peaking at the right time and may be capable of hitting 20 HR and stealing 20 bases this year in New York.
You may want to wait and see if Fernando Martinez lives up to the typical New York Hype Machine. I personally look at him as a reserve-type player at this early point in his career.
